Definition of AJB-fare and AJB-carrier
AJB, Atlantic Joint Business, is a joint business agreement between Finnair, American Airlines, British Airways, US Airways and Iberia, which allows the co-ordination of scheduling and prices. In the agreement are flights between North America (incl. Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands) and the EU (incl. Norway and Switzerland). In the Rule Application (RU) section in the fare notes is the text ‘TRANSATLANTIC FARES’.
Processing Involuntary Reissue
Please see example below of what elements need to be taken into consideration when building an involuntary reissue -TST. Please refer to HE TST -> GP REI for entries in Amadeus or consult your local GDS Help Desk.
Amadeus Ticket Changer (ATC) Involuntary
You may also choose to use Amadeus Ticket Changer (ATC) Involuntary -tool to automatically process the TST. With the Amadeus entry FXI/TKT105-1234567890F3-4/S4-6/P1 for the example below the involuntary TST would be automatically updated. Only stop-over and connection indicators need to be manually updated. Amadeus has at this point opened the functionality in the following countries: BE, NL, LU, IE, GB, SE, NO, DK, LT, LV, FI, GR, DE, CH, RU. For access to the functionality you need to contact your local Amadeus Help Desk. More information is available in Amadeus on HE FXI.

Ticketing and informing the customer
For this example correct entry for ticketing would be TTP/T2. Please always double-check both the original ticket and the reissued ticket that you can see correct coupons are in E(Exchange)-status and O(Open) -status, alternatively A(Airport control) -status. Send a copy of the reissued electronic ticket to the customer. It is also good to check if there are any possible special services (SSR) booked to the original flights that need to be rebooked to the new flights. At the time the customer has agreed and approved the new flights/schedule it is recommended to insert information of this in the PNR. E.g. SR OTHS PAX ACCEPTED SCHED CHG FOR AY006 or similar that suits the occasion.
Due to a slight delay in maintenance schedules, Finnair is using an aircraft and crew leased from LOT Polish Airlines on our New York JFK route in April 17-23. The flight schedule remains the same, and this does not require any action from the customers.
The aircraft is a Boeing 787-800. The crew comes from LOT, and two Finnair cabin crew members join the crew to support the customer service. The service concept on board (meal service, in-flight sales) is the Finnair service concept. The aircraft has LOT's inflight entertainment system, with plenty of movies and other content in English.
We will inform you more April 10.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this might cause to our customers.
Finnair Customer Service
LOT will operate AY005/6 between Helsinki and New York for the period 17 - 23 April, 2015. This is due delayed maintenance of Finnair's own aircraft.
Finnair's own aircraft is replaced for the period with one of LOT's Boeing 787-800. In addition to LOT crew there are also 2 Finnair cabin crew members onboard to assure Finnair service standards.
Finnair is informing the customers booked on the mentioned flights, provided that the contact information is available in the PNR. You will see "SK PCNS" -lines in the PNR when the message has been sent.

until 30 April, 2015
-same day rerouting on oneworld carriers

For SSRs requiring manual confirmation our aim is to process them as quickly as possible. From time to time there might be congestions with incoming SSRs and we ask for your patience. In urgent cases for nearby departures you may contact your local Finnair Travel Agent Help Desk.
In scenarios with journeys well in the future and you need to issue the ticket due tight ticketing time limit and the SSR is not confirmed yet, Finnair is flexible. If the request for PRM*-passengers is declined due the quota is full on booked and ticketed flight, we can offer alternative flights without charge; same routing and the original AY/AY flight can be changed to AY/AY flight on the same day or +/- couple of days. If the situation so requires, also full refund may be offered. Please contact your local Finnair Travel Agent Help Desk for rebooking and consultation.
If you have doubts whether the SSR has transferred to Finnair queue or not you can check this by using the RTQ -command. More info available on HE RTQ.
*PRM = Passenger with reduced mobility and is recognized by the following SSR-codes: WCHR, WCHS, WCHC, BLND, DEAF, MEDA, DPNA.
