In-flight shopping

Finnair carries a broad selection of affordable high quality products, which you can purchase during your flight. Our catalogue includes cosmetics and fragrances for both men and women, gift items for adults and children, confectionary, and jewellery. On intercontinental flights and flights to and from destinations outside the EU, alcohol and tobacco products are also available for purchase (except on flights within Europe operated with Embraer aircraft).

Destinations outside the EU

You can purchase tax-free products, alcohol and tobacco on board flights to and from destinations outside the EU. This includes all intercontinental flights and European flights to Ekaterinburg, Geneva, Kiev, Moscow, Murmansk and Zurich, as well as leisure flights to the Canary Islands and Jersey. As there is limited space on board the aircraft, you cannot buy alcohol and tobacco products on flights within Europe operated with Embraer aircraft – however, you can pre-order products online in the Finnair Shop.

Destinations within the EU

You can purchase gift items, cosmetics, fragrances and confectionary, but not tobacco or alcohol, on scheduled flights to and from the following European destinations – Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bucharest, Budapest, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kiev, Lisbon, Ljubljana, London, Madrid, Malaga, Manchester, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Nice, Paris, Pisa, Prague, Rome, Stuttgart, Venice and Vienna.

The products available on our flights within the EU are very competitively priced, but not tax-free.

Pre-orders for your flights

You can pre-order in-flight shopping online for both your outbound and return flights in the Finnair Shop. On all intercontinental routes and on most European routes, you can pre-order in-flight shopping during your outbound flight and pick it up during your return flight. You can do this on routes within Europe, except to and from Bergen, Gdansk, Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Tallinn. You can also pre-order wines for you outbound flight to all other destinations except the ones mentioned above. Pre-orders for European return flights must be made at least three days before the return flight departs; for intercontinental or leisure return flights, at least five days before the return flight departs. To make a pre-order during you outbound journey, just ask one of our cabin crew.

Finnair Plus benefits on in-flight purchases

• Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver members get a 10% discount on all purchases made on board Finnair international scheduled or leisure flights to or from a country outside the EU – this includes products on special offer.
• All Finnair Plus members earn Finnair Plus points for all in-flight purchases.

We accept cash and bank cards, as well as the following credit cards:

We accept bank notes up to €200 and credit card purchases up to €150. We accept one-euro pieces, but not smaller coins.
