Finnair’s new ticket types make buying flights simpler and easier. The new ticket types are designed to serve different travel needs with more individual service packages in Economy and Business Class.

Each Finnair ticket type includes at least one carry-on bag, one checked bag, and Finnair Plus points. Meal and/or beverage service is also included on all Finnair-operated flights.

Saver

Saver is for leisure travellers looking for the best bargain in Economy Class. Changes are possible for a CAD 250 change fee, but no refund is given in case of cancellations.

Basic

Basic is for leisure travellers looking for a good deal in Economy Class. Changes are possible for a slightly lower change fee of CAD 200, but no refund is given in case of cancellations.

Value

Value offers additional flexibility - changes are free, and an 80% refund is given on cancellations before departure.

Pro

Pro serves commuters, business and leisure travellers with priority services and full flexibility. As a new feature PRO includes a complimentary upgrade to Business Class on connecting flights, subject to availability.

Business saver

Business saver is ideal for leisure travellers looking for Business Class comfort and for business travellers whose travel plans are unlikely to change.

Business

Business is the definitive choice for frequent business travellers complete with Business Class services and full flexibility.

Changes - In addition to the listed change fee, the fare difference (if applicable) and a reissue fee is collected when the routing or fare type changes. In USA the reissue fee is 20USD. If permitted, changes must be done within the validity of the ticket.

Cancellations - In addition to the listed cancellation fee, a service fee is collected for all partial refunds. In USA the service fee is 75USD. For price combinations the most restrictive cancellation rule applies.

Name change - allowed on AY operated flights and FlyBe-operated AY2000-series flights. Name change fee 200 euros or equivalent in local currency; contact Finnair for details. Name change must be made latest 1 day before the departure of the first flight segment. For price combinations the most restrictive name change rule applies.
