You can check in for any flight at an airport check-in desk. The airport monitors will show you which check-in desks you can use to check in for your particular flight.

At Helsinki Airport, check-in opens two hours before departure of the first international flight and one hour before departure of the first domestic flight. For check-in opening and closing times of other airports, see Destinations.

Previous-evening check-in

At Helsinki airport, you can check in for your flight during the evening prior to departure, between 17:30 and 21:30. One member of your family can check in your entire family’s baggage, provided that he or she is in possession of all tickets and travel documents. Evening check-in saves time on the day of departure, because your whole family can go straight to security control as soon as they reach the airport.

Check-in desks for Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver members

You can check in for scheduled flights at the Business Class or Priority check-in desk regardless of your travel class.
You can check in for oneclass flights at the Priority check-in desk at Helsinki Airport and at a special check-in desk at Ljubljana and Tallinn airports.
